Pending and Decreed RICDs

The communities below have recreational in-channel diversion (RICD) water rights decreed under Senate Bill 216. A RICD water rights application is pending for Glenwood Springs.

There are six communities that obtained decrees for water rights prior to the passage of Senate Bill 216: Aspen, Breckenridge, Fort Collins, Golden, Littleton and Vail.

Glenwood Springs
In order to participate in this matter, please notify Suzanne Sellers @ Suzanne.sellers@state.co.us prior to noon on April 24, 2015 to take part in the Board's public deliberation during its July meeting. Alternatively, anyone may provide a short public comment during the Board's public deliberation of this matter by notifying the Board Coordinator the day of the meeting.
Please note: Those that are a party to this case before the water court, are automatically considered a party in this matter before the board.

  • Claimed Flows: Up to 4,000 cubic feet per second (cfs)
