Colorado Water Conservation Board, Office of Water Conservation
and Drought Planning
The primary task of the office is to help Colorado communities and
water users become more water efficient. This includes implementation
of the Water Conservation Act of 2004.

Note: As of mid-2005, most of these plans were prepared prior to the
Water Conservation Act of 2004 amendments to Section 30-60-126, C.R.S.,
which defines the requirements for conservation plans, and all were
prepared prior to development of the guidance and model plan provided
in this document. Some may have sections that illustrate concepts
and content recommended for the various planning steps and plan sections
recommended in this document.

Conservation Committee of the Rocky Mountain Section, American
Water Works Association
The Section has a conservation committee that communicates and coordinates
the water conservation activities of members in the Section by distributing

Green Industries of Colorado (GreenCO) Landscape Best Management
Practices
GreenCO’s BMPs are guidelines on how to reduce water consumption
and protect water quality while producing, designing, installing and
maintaining healthy, beautiful landscapes.

Watersaver.org is an information warehouse dedicated to helping water
users access water related entities throughout the Front Range of
Colorado as well as providing tools that help explain and calculate
efficient outdoor watering times, tips on saving water indoors, Xeriscape

Xeriscape, Colorado! Inc. is a non-profit membership group promoting
